KRING is developing a detailed Inventory Management Application
in C# & ASP.Net for Livestock Feeding Industry in US. The
application is being developed as an enhancement to an existing
desktop application and has been named Simplicity 2005.
The scope of project includes developing and delivering a stand-alone
(single user) and multiple-user (0-3 or 3-10 users) Inventory
Management Application for Livestock Feed Manufacturers. The
Inventory management Application will be developed in MS.Net
Framework (ASP.Net).
The scope of the application can be summarized as below: |

Development of Inventory Management Application
(Simplicity 2005) & the GUI
- Single user stand-alone application with MSDE or MS Access
as back-end database
- Multiple user (1-3 users) application with MSDE or MS
Access as back-end database
- Multiple user (3-10 users) application with MS SQL Server
as back-end database

Development of Interfaces between Simplicity 2005 (Stand-alone
as well as Multiple User) and various Batch Process Controllers
(Batch Controllers) that actually control the product of livestock
feed. One such Batch Controller is a proprietary CSI 150 Batch
Controller, and the other planned Batch Controller is a more
advanced 1-2-3 Batch Controller. |

Development of interfaces between Simplicity 2005 and various
Accounting Packages. |

| D. |
Development of ASCII or other suitable file export formats
between Simplicity 2005 and various third party software programs
used by livestock feed industry. |

Data import of pertinent & possible data from an existing
MS Access databases of various users of Simplicity’s present
stand-alone version to Simplicity 2005 databases (MSDE, MS Access
or MS SQL Server). |

Development of approximately 30 main and 30 sub-reports using
Crystal Reports. These reports will mainly deal with product
usage, batch process status, production usage, etc. Crystal
Reports will also be used to generate few graphs & charts. |

KRING will prepare the Installer for the final
versions of Simplicity 2005 (Stand Alone as well as Multi User).
The Installer will take the user through a step-by-step procedure
to install the application. Simplicity 2004 application will
be available for distribution & installation in the form
of CD
The installation CD will also carry the required updates and
frameworks required to deploy & install the Simplicity application
(like MS.Net Framework 1.1, IE upgrades, 3rd party updates,
etc).
Upon running the Installer, the Simplicity 2005 Application
will display the License Agreement and the user will agree to
the License Agreement Terms & Conditions to proceed with
the installation.
KRING will also provide demo installation CDs for the new Simplicity
2005 Application. The demo installation CDs will have a unique
product key, which will be required to enter during the installation
process and allow the user to use the demo/trial application
trial period of 30-days.
After the expiry of trial period, the user will not be able
to use Simplicity 2005 Trial Version. The user will have to
contact Alliance Controls to continue using Simplicity 2005.
Alliance Controls can then provide the user with the new &
unique product key, using which the user could use Simplicity
2004 according to the licensing policies.
