In 2003 KRING Development A/S merged with the Danish-Indian
company ContinuumIT. Before 2001 KRING Development A/S developed
e-business solutions to several well established Danish customers.
ContinuumIT´s core competence was development of software
applications through its offshore location and had clients in
Europe and US.
The two companies found each other complementary, KRING Development
having strong presence in the local market and ContinuumIT with
its offshore development center and clientele around the world.
The partnership proved to be fruitful and in 2003 the companies
merged and became KRING Technologies A/S in Denmark and KRING
Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. in India.
The concept was to give Scandinavian, European and US companies
access to global division of labor. There was in other words
flexibility towards factors like company type, culture, and
methodology. The intention was to provide the best conditions
for supplementing the market and for maximizing value.KRING
Development A/S continues to be a result-oriented supplier of
web applications and e-business solutions on the Danish market.
The Future
KRING Technologies believes that development of software
will change dramatically in the coming years. The complexity
of the value chain in software development is also expected
to increase. Furthermore, there will be a more concentrated
vertical focus on key competences.
KRING Technologies wants to be the leading value-creator in
the role of a software development company. As a result of this
we are constantly actively searching for appropriate places
around the world to expand our Global Sourcing. |
