Summary of the article ”KRING Technologies Reshuffles
Top Management” by Knud Teddy Rasmussen
In the article ”KRING Technologies Reshuffles
Top Management” from Børsen on the 8th of June
2006, the various changes within the management of KRING Technologies
since the summer of 2005 are accounted for.
In the Danish organization of KRING, Michael Munck became the
CEO in the summer of 2005, after Jesper Kring handed over the
post to him. In KRING’s offshore development center in
India, Torben H. Larsen has taken over the post as managing
director after Michael Sauer at the beginning of 2006. Both
Jesper Kring and Michael Sauer will continue as partners in
the company.
Furthermore, additional new recruitments are expected to be
published in the near future, as the article mentions the recruitment
of five experienced persons from the Danish IT world. CEO Mikael
Munck elaborates on the background for the series of new appointments:
“We are carrying out increasingly larger contracts, and
for example we have a client, which separately is tying up 55
of our developers in India. Consequently, it had become necessary
to alter our organization, so that we today can deal with clients
and assignments on a much larger scale than previously”.
The turn-over at KRING Technologies has been on a constant rise
from DKK 18 mil. in 2005, expected to reach DKK 40 mil in 2006
and the goal for 2007 is to go beyond DKK 100 mil.
From a strategic point-of-view, KRING Technologies has attempted
to situate Danes in all of its operations abroad in order to
handle the large assignments, which KRING currently is undertaking.
Apart from KRING’s existing offshore centers in Delhi,
India and Kiev, Ukraine, it is expected that these will be extended
with departments in China and the Philippines.
