Dear
We hope you and your nearest are safe in these challenging times and that you’re able to get the best out of the situation!
General assembly and next investor meeting
We have scheduled our next investor meeting for Tuesday, May 12 from 16.00 to 18.00. This will also be a general assembly. However, if there are no objections, we will find a later date and host a "paper general assembly" (papir-generalforsamling/skrivebordsgeneralforsamling/) - depending on the developments regarding COVID-19. We will return with more information after easter.
Investor update March 2020
As you would have guessed, this monthly KRING Speedbooting 2019 investor update is highly influated by the coronavirus outbreak. Read about how we handle the quarantine and the status of our different ventures below!
THE CORONA SITUATION
How we're handling the Coronavirus in KRING Speedbooting 2019
The announcements from our government meant that on Wednesday 11/3 in the evening we decided to
:
Encourage all employees, including Co-Founders, to work from home
Host all internal meetings as normal - but only using digital platforms
Host all external meetings online where possible and not physically
Postpone our Get Glo Biohacker Friday bar
Host a 15min online team meeting every morning at 09:00
Since we as a team were already 100% digital and only using cloud-based tools, there is no immediate problem with the above in terms of continuing with our various projects. Progress will be unchanged for most activities in the short run - but if the "state of emergency" is significantly extended beyond the 4 weeks, we will probably start noticing a slowdown in some of our activities due to external partnerships. We could be challenged in the recruitment of Co-Founders. It can continue digitally, but in the long run, we will be affected by not being able to recruit and meet physically.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN PRIVATE HOMES
New team member on board and ready to test
Throughout this month we have worked together with our corporate partner to get ready for running experiments. We have performed interviews with potential customers, mapped customer segments, identified critical hypotheses and finally designed experiments. Furthermore, we have started several dialogues with additional potential partners, seeking more synergies and opportunities within this area.

Meet Luna Gyalokay
We had Luna joining our core team once again after working on our Speedboat venture from KRING Speedbooting 2016 Flextribe for the last two years. Lune will be working full time on our energy venture. Luna on LinkedIn
Next steps
We initially planned to run some experiments together with our corporate partner’s various branch offices, utilizing their existing in-person meetings with clients. However, due to the developments of the COVID-19 virus, the physical branch offices have been closed, so we have opted to run digital or online experiments first. We will still do this together with our corporate partner, and in addition, we will also run experiments with our own landing page and brand.

We've been using the Corona downtime to start visualising our concept and prepare for lead generation. Have a look at our work-in-progress landing page for our energy venture.
Call to action (yes, we'd love your help!)
We are still looking for potential co-founders and/or housing energy experts that are interested in working together with us on this new venture. If you know any housing energy experts we should talk to, please send them to Jacob Madsen at jam@kring.com
MENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT
Big progress, new team member and a big growth opportunity
We started this month by moving our Mental Health Assistant concept from Think Big into Validation phase meaning we've started building the prototype and making plans to reach our first 1000 users to validate the concept. With our Mental Health Assistant, we want to increase mental health and wellbeing with a 24/7 AI buddy who listens and provides tangible advice at minimum cost or free. Based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, sleep-, exercise- and mobile use tracking.

Meet Emilie Glen Petersen
Emilie started full time the 16/3 on a two-month project contract as our Psychologist. She is going to help us develop the first protocols and make sure we build an app that can make a difference.

Aya - our AI mental health assistantWe've worked hard to get the concept, landing page and prototype ready for validating the concept.Below you can see our lead-generator landing page and an (early stage) clickable prototype of the app.

Aya featured in Berlingske
Last week we were featured in Berlingske with Aya. The focus was on our pivot due to the current situation - focusing on how to help people suffering from mental illnesses during the quarantine.
Next steps
We are facing a big growth opportunity with the Coronavirus as the quarantine is taking its toll on many individuals and especially mentally challenged individuals. We are currently doing everything we can to get a working MVP on the market. Therefore we are working on finding the right developers to build our app while our team is writing all the chat flows and interactions. While the app is being developed, we are contacting different institutions, influencers and relevant media and preparing all marketing and growth hacking activities for a big launch.
Feel free to follow Aya on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to follow the process!
SUPPLEMENTS FOR PRACTITIONERS
New team member and ahead of schedule
While we waited for our new Co-Founder to start on this venture, we've been preparing everything we could to start validating this venture as soon as possible. This involves scraping the internet for functional medicine practitioners, outlining supplement regulations in the EU and preparing all marketing initiatives. Due to the Coronavirus and a cancelled holiday, our Co-Founder Daniel has started 1 week earlier than planned which leaves us ahead of schedule and a giving us a good starting point for establishing connections with practitioners since their practices are shut down due to the quarantine.

Meet Daniel Kristensen
With a background in supply chain management and management consulting and running multiple start-ups within e-commerce, we are excited to have him on board as Co-Founder for our venture.
Next steps
We are currently researching the legal part, the technical part and the suppliers to make sure we get a good start. We are planning to have an MVP up running within the next month.
We hope you enjoyed the insights
Make sure you follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to read more about our other Speedboats and news in our office and network. Have a great week!
