We’re excited to announce our investment in Carelog

Carelog is an AI-powered note-taking assistant that helps clinicians and other professionals turn conversations into accurate, structured documentation in seconds.

November 12, 2025

Every day, thousands of therapists, psychologists, and clinicians spend hours documenting patient sessions, time that could otherwise be dedicated to direct care. Carelog addresses this challenge by combining advanced speech recognition with AI-generated journal drafting to turn spoken notes into structured, legally compliant documentation.

The Challenge: documentation overload in healthcare

In today’s healthcare system, particularly within psychology and mental health services, documentation has become one of the biggest sources of time pressure and operational inefficiency. Professionals report spending up to 60% of their working hours writing notes, transcribing sessions, and ensuring legal compliance.

This documentation overload leads to several compounding issues:

  • Notes are often written long after sessions, reducing quality and clinical nuance
  • Time with patients is reduced
  • Staff face an ongoing risk of burnout due to administrative overload
  • Incomplete or inconsistent records increase legal and compliance risks

Carelog is purpose-built to address these challenges, streamlining the documentation process while raising the bar on quality, consistency, and security.

The Solution: AI-powered, secure, and compliant note-taking

Designed in close collaboration with practitioners, the Carelog platform acts as an intelligent note-taking assistant that transcribes conversations and automatically generates structured, legally compliant journal drafts, all within a highly secure and GDPR-compliant environment.

What once took 30–60 minutes per client can now be completed in just 3–5 minutes - saving healthcare professionals more than five hours a week, whilst also improving the quality, consistency, and safety of medical records.

Why we invested:

For KRING, Carelog represents exactly the kind of AI-driven innovation we want to accelerate.

“Carelog is solving a real and urgent problem, and doing so with a product that clearly creates value by saving time and reducing administrative work. We’re backing this company not only because the solution is strong and necessary, but because we deeply believe in the founders and their drive to make a meaningful impact. At KRING, we’re excited to support Carelog hands-on across key areas, from tech and go-to-market to sales, marketing, operations, and financing. This is exactly the kind of venture we exist to build.”

Looking beyond healthcare

Over the summer, the Carelog team also began exploring the construction sector to assess whether their technology could generate similar efficiency gains beyond healthcare. Initial outreach and testing have shown promising results, indicating that the platform’s core capability, automated, structured documentation, could address significant administrative pain points in this industry as well.

“Across both healthcare and construction, we see the same fundamental problem: too much time lost to documentation, and not enough time spent where it really matters. In healthcare, professionals spend hours every day writing clinical notes, hours that could be spent with patients. In construction, critical information from site meetings often gets buried in late-night summaries or missed altogether. Carelog is our response to that. It’s an AI assistant that turns speech and notes into complete, secure summaries/reports, instantly and with no extra work. Our vision is simple: to make documentation effortless, a natural, integrated part of the workday, rather than a time-consuming task that occurs after hours.”
